In this project the experiences of newly graduated preschool teachers in their first few years of work is explored. A particular focus lies on the experienced self-efficacy of the preschool teachers during the period of transition between education and work-life. The study is made in connection to a larger quantiative longitudinal questionnaire study made at Karolinska Institutet and the empirical materials consist of text-based open-ended answers made by teachers and preschool teachers. Researchers at FUFF have been granted access to these data and being given the possibility of qualitatively analysing the texts in relation to current early childhood education research.
