This is a Conference for all teachers at Stockholm University. The Conference provides an opportunity to share experiences of teaching and learning in the Academy and to learn more from the experiences of colleagues. 

The Conference language is Swedish but there will be an English-speaking track.

Alastair Creelman, Specialist e-learning, Linneaus University

Specialist in the field of online and distance education based in the section for higher education development. Monitors developments in the field and is active in several national and international projects in areas such as distance/online learning, quality questions, open educational resources (OER), MOOCs, social media in education and virtual mobility (global classroom).

Endnote: Scholarship of Teaching and Learning — observations and future horizons

Meet Sweden's only Professors in Higher Education  Klara Bolander Laksov and Max Scheja who, based on the conference presentations, discuss Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) and what it can be like at Stockholm University. They present "the CUBE" as a forward-looking model to make visible and strengthen the invaluable work that the teachers' conference presenters and participants contribute to.

Format of presentations

Types of submissions for the conference are poster presentation, presentation / panel discussion, round table discussions and workshop/ICT-workshop.

Register for the conference

Participation in the Teachers' conference is free of charge for Stockholm University staff. NOTE! If you were already registered for the conference March 26, you need to re-register for these new dates. Late registration is available through our online form on our Swedish website until November 18.

Submission of new additional contributions

In addition to the contributions already included in the programme, we also open up the possibility of submitting new contributions to the conference. All contributions are welcome, but given the recent challenges, contributions regarding the following subjects are especially welcomed:

  • ICT solutions for digital / online teaching and exams
  • Educational / didactic solutions for teaching online
  • Social climate and relational aspects related to teaching on Zoom / online education
  • How teaching on Zoom changes students' learning trajectories.
