Welcome to a workshop on teaching and learning with the Centre for the Advancement of University Teaching (CeUL).

This workshop is aimed for Teachers, course directors and staff at Stockholm University involved in the processes surrounding examination and plagiarism.

About the workshop

The workshop is based upon a newly written handbook on counteracting plagiarism produced by Christophe Premat, Annelie Gunnerstad and Christine Bendixen at Stockholm University.

Bendixen, Christine; Gunnerstad, Annelie; Premat, Christophe (2022): Preventing plagiarism. Reports on Teaching and Learning in Higher Education. Report.

During the workshop we will work with anonymous cases and reflect on how to detect bad habits at an early stage. The focus is on examination forms and instructions. How can we help our students to write, cite and think by themselves?

We encourage participants to bring your own, anonymised examples of plagiarism to be used as a starting point for contextualising the problem in different academic areas.
