The CoPS division

The group of Cosmology, Particle Astrophysics and Strings (CoPS) at the Physics Department (“Fysikum”) of Stockholm University was formed in 2004. Our research is focused on dark matter (both theory and experiment), dark energy (both theory and experiment), cosmology, string theory and general relativity. We are also members of the Oskar Klein Centre.

Postdoctoral position on Data Science with LSST

We are searching for an outstanding individual to conduct original research on modelling and/or analysis of photometric datasets for dark energy studies using statistical inference and machine learning methods. Ref. No. SU FV-0801-21, closing date: 11 March 2021.

Postdoctoral Fellow in mm-wavelength instrumentation

The Oskar Klein Centre and the Department of Physics at Stockholm University invites applications for a Postdoctoral fellow focusing on the design and testing of lightweight metamaterial candidates for broadband millimeter-wavelength absorbers to be used by the LiteBIRD satellite. Ref. No. SU FV-0103-21, closing date: 19 March 2021.
