Postdoctoral position on Data Science with LSST

We are searching for an outstanding individual to conduct original research on modelling and/or analysis of photometric datasets for dark energy studies using statistical inference and machine learning methods. Ref. No. SU FV-0801-21, closing date: 11 March 2021.

Postdoctoral Fellow in mm-wavelength instrumentation

The Oskar Klein Centre and the Department of Physics at Stockholm University invites applications for a Postdoctoral fellow focusing on the design and testing of lightweight metamaterial candidates for broadband millimeter-wavelength absorbers to be used by the LiteBIRD satellite. Ref. No. SU FV-0103-21, closing date: 19 March 2021.

Postdoctoral scientist in experimental particle physics at the ATLAS experiment

The elementary particle physics division at Stockholm University invites applicants for a two year postdoctoral position to work on the ATLAS experiment at CERN's Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Ref. No. SU FV-0568-21, closing date: 31 March 2021.

PhD positions

All open PhD positions are announced on this webpage. This is done four times per year.  Announcements in 2021 are published February 2rd (with last application date March 1st), April 2nd (April 23rd), September 2nd (September 29th) and October 15th (November 5th). For 2022 the dates will be similar but are yet not decided. Contact the Director of Postgraduate Studies for more information about the program.

PhD student in Chemical Physics: Ultrafast X-ray science on supercooled water

The PhD project will focus on studying the transition between liquid water and amorphous ice using optical pump and X-ray probe techniques. Ref. No. SU FV-0354-21, closing date: 15 March 2021.

PhD student in Photonic quantum metrology
